Michael Li

Michael posts 32 shots to his flickr gallery. He writes that he was fascinated by the play of Courtney Vandersloot, and has several of her, as well as pregame and postgame shots, and also a nice one of Kayla shooting a 3:

And a good shot of the team with the trophy:

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin posts 44 shots of this game to set to continuous including several "sisterhood" shots like this,

and other action shots like this of Lindy making a speedy turn:

Dave Cortesi

We posted 23 pics taken over the sweet sixteen weekend to smugmug including this of ace photogs Li and Briggs sizing up the team send-off on Monday,

and one of the impressive Gonzaga yell squad formation with bulldog:

North Carolina v. Stanford, 26 March 2011

Baranduin Briggs

Like the rest of us who bought tickets through Stanford, Baranduin was seated in a little wedge area diagonally behind and well back of the basket (seats for the next game were much better). As a result she "had to crop like crazy" to get to the good parts of the pictures. Just the same she posted 39 shots to set to continuous, including one of Nneka doing what Nneka does:

And one of Mikaela contesting a rebound:

Click through to her gallery for more.

In about a day we will post pictures for the Stanford-Gonzaga game of Monday.

St. John's (NY) at Stanford (NCAA 2nd round), 21 March 2011

All our troop of photogs were at this second-round game, which makes for a bit of a long blog post. Could we have too many pictures of the Cardinal? Nunh-unh.

Scott Uyeno

First to report in is Scott, posting 25 close-in action shots to his flickr gallery including Nneka and Jos smothering a shot,

and one of Toni getting down after the ball.

Steve Mitchel

Steve writes, "I spent too much time cheering and not enough time shooting," but he still posts 18 pics with a particularly rich, saturated palette of colors to smugmug, including a pretty portrait of Mikaela,

and one of Chiney pondering a free-throw.

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin posted 36 shots to set to continuous including a dynamic defensive duo,

and ending with either the first or the second of Mel's two blocked shots:

Dave Cortesi

Our seats for the NCAA weren't good for photography but we put 5 pics on smugmug including a classic Kayla rebound,

And one of Toni and Mel sharing a joke during warmups.

Michael Li

Michael says he "had an off-night behind the camera" (yeah—been there...) but posts a dozen to his flickr set including one of the Red Storm mascot,

and one of Jeanette getting a block,

UCD at Stanford (NCAA 1st round), 19 March 2011

Scott Uyeno

Our self-assigned focus this game was to get more Dee-fense shots. Scott shoots from the North end and posted 19 pics, almost all D, to his flickr gallery including this one of Nneka making it hard for Kasey Reicks:

and Lindy and Nneka frustrating Samanth Meggison.

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin put 41 pics on set to continuous including Jeannette reaching in on Kasey Reicks,

and on of Mel trying to block Paige Mintun (a bit of a mismatch).

As usual Baranduin did half black-and-white, and these are mostly Defense; the half in color are mostly offense including classic layups and jumpers. Click through to the blog to see them.

Michael Li

Michael says "taking pictures of offense is more fun." That said, he posts to flickr shots of offense in the Texas Tech - St. John's game,

But, like a good sport, pics of the Tree-fense in the Stanford game,

PAC-10 Final, Stanford v. UCLA

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin posted a batch of great shots to set to continuous including this one of Toni's first breakaway layup,

and this from the post-game autograph session outside:

Click to her gallery for lots more action and post-game shots.

Dave Cortesi

We took a few pics at the send-off, and post-game, but once the game was under way we were so wrapped up in the drama we forgot to take any pics! So we didn't post any action shots to smugmug but did get several pre- and post-game shots including a band member at the send-off,

and Nikki Caldwell's tallest shoes yet.

PAC-10 Semi-final, Stanford v. Arizona

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin tried to, but couldn't dodge the ushers who made everyone sit on the east side to dress the stands for TV—hence the empty rows of seats in the background of these shots—and then had travel and social obligations that held up processing until today, but has now posted 32 shots of this game to set to continuous including this amazing group rebound:

and this of Grace puttin' some mojo on the ball:

Click through to the blog to enjoy 30 more, including one that could be titled "Midair Mel."

Dave Cortesi

We got a few good shots from our tenth-row seats and posted them on smugmug, including a lucky shot of Sara James enjoying the band at the send-off,

and this, one of Nneka's many lay-ups:

he focused primarily on the Senior Night celebrations, with a number of shots like this nice team portrait.

Click through to smugmug for more player shots.

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin posted 58 pictures to set to continuous (and thereby "exceeded my upload limit, no surprise") with lots of her signature action shots including:

(What in the world...?) And lots of nice Senior-Night shots like this of the non-seniors:

Click through to the blog for many more.

Dave Cortesi

Dave and Marian posted 18 shots to smugmug including a study of Big-time TV Personality Ros G-O waiting for the game to start,
