Today, just a random selection of the best shots from our contributor's galleries.

Baranduin shoots the first half in monochrome. Her new camera renders monochrome very nicely.

Michael titles this one "KJ squared."

One KJ in action.

The other, looking to help Erica McCall.

Here's McCall more vertical.

All photographers love Lili.

Bri Roberson is a close second in the full-tilt style of play.

Quite a bit of "let it all hang out" play that night.

Tom O'Connor used depth of field to perfectly encapsulate the story of this game: Karlie's stifling of Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, Lili's aggressive play, Gino's consternation:

Kaylee Johnson got a lot of love from the fan fotogs.

Tom O'Connor

Lili Thompson was a major factor in the outcome.

Amber Orrange had a lot to do with it as well...

Especially, when she hit a 3-pointer to send the game to overtime:

Then happy pandemonium reigned. Well, for some.

Intensity

Despite being an exhibition game, this was one of the player's last chances to impress before the regular season begins.

Debut for Brittany McPhee

This was the first game for freshman Brittany McPhee. Her practice time had been limited by a foot issue, and Tara said after the game that this was only the third time she's taken part in full-court play.

Considering her limited minutes on the floor, the fan photographers did well by her.

Postgame

This was the first-ever coach-off between the sisters Vanderveer.

Following the game, Amy introduced the three freshmen.

Tara and Heidi answered questions.

Tom O'Connor

From a vantage point just under the North-end basket Tom got a number of action shots for his Smugmug gallery including this nice one of McCall going up to score:

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin sat in her usual position and got 53 shots worth posting to this Smugmug gallery of which at least 75% feature a Stanford player with both feet off the ground, like this with "Bird" in the air:

And even multiple shots of Tess with both feet off the ground (go Tess!)
