Colorado at Stanford, 27 January 2013

Michael Li

Michael posted a dozen pictures to a Flickr set including this one of Sara James getting blocked (fouled? no whistle) by #11, Brittany Wilson:

Scott Uyeno

Scott posted 50 shots to a Flickr set. Tipped that Colorado favored a "physical" style of play, Scott watched for that and found it, often with Mikaela Reuf in the middle, as here:

Dave Cortesi

We didn't have a good photo night, and posted only 11 shots to a Smugmug gallery including this of Jos Tinkle and Mary Murphy post-game:

Utah at Stanford, 25 January 2013

Jonathan Parnell

Jonathan is Baranduin's co-worker who borrowed her camera and tickets to this game. He selected 40 shots for Baranduin's Smugmug gallery. It's nice getting a different perspective on the game, like this:

Along with good action shots:

Maybe Jonathan will come again and take some more pics?

Scott Uyeno

Scott posts 60 shots of (mostly) north-basket action to a flickr set including this one of Mikaela making an off-balance save:

As you browse Scott's gallery, take note of the fact that he has captioned each picture with the names of both the Stanford and Utah players.

Michael Li

Michael posted 14 selected images to a flickr set including this one of another Reuf hustle play:

Michael not only captions his images, if you hover the mouse over a stanford player you usually get a pop-up with their name and scoring line.

Dave Cortesi

We posted 25 shots to a Smugmug gallery including this one of Sara James getting blocked by a very determined Michelle Plouffe:

USC at Stanford, 20 January 2013

Michael Li

Michael missed the first half ("I was watching the 49ers") but posted 8 second-half shots to a Flickr set including this of Sara looking for a charge call:

Scott Uyeno

Scott posted 61 shots to a Flickr set including this one of what may be that same charge by Ariya Crook:

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin posted 47 shots to a Smugmug gallery including this one of SEJ attacking in the second half:

David Cortesi

We posted 18 mid-court shots to a Smugmug gallery including—let's make this Sara James week, shall we?—SEJ being interviewed by Mary Murphy:

Photo-nerd note: the above is a zipper-neck job. I got three shots of this pair, one in which SEJ looked best and a different one with Mary Murphy smiling. Half an hour of photoshoppery later...

UCLA at Stanford, 18 January 2013

All the regulars turned out for this game, but there's always room for more! If you bring your camera to a game—especially to an away game!—put your good shots up somewhere and send us the link. Click over on the right where it says "Here's how!"

Michael Li

Michael posted 12 shots to a Flickr set including this one of Atonye Nyingifa and Toni Kokenis going for a rebound:

Also, the bench celebrating on Jos's 3-pointers #3, #4, and #5.

Scott Uyeno

Scott posts 47 pics to a Flickr set packed with intense north-basket action like this:

...or this:

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin, who claims to have clicked 2500 exposures during this game, culled them down to just 62 in a Smugmug gallery including "the flying sejjie":

And this, which is not at first glance a prize composition but which preserves one of the most amazing moments of the game:

...when Toni leapt across the line, caught the ball in the air and passed it to Chiney before hitting the ground.

Dave Cortesi

Twenty-three shots made it to a Smugmug gallery including Jos hard at work:

Stanford at Cal, 9 January 2013

Baranduin Briggs

Baranduin had a seat on the little bleacher section at floor level across from the Stanford bench, and posted 75 shots to a Smugmug gallery. The low angle and short distance let her capture a number of images that convey the intensity and physicality of this game. This one is at the center of a seven-shot continuous sequence:

The whole gallery, especially the first-half shots showing the defensive battle, are superb; go enjoy!

Michael Li

Michael was in the reserved seats above the visitor bench and put a dozen pictures in a flicker set, including this of Jos Tinkle:

...as well as one that is well-nigh identical to the picture just below.

David Cortesi

We shot from higher up in the reserved seats above the visitor bench and posted 19 pics to a Smugmug gallery including this of Amber in mid-drive:

Go to picture #13 in that gallery, get the Large or XLarge version, and look in the extreme upper right corner: there's Baranduin with camera to her eye.
